It is 3.am on the night of the European Referendum. In a bunker dug deep below a banana straightening factory in East Prussia Hitler learns that exit polls show the ungrateful British, who like curved bananas, are going to leave Europe.

  1. The Salisbury Review initally was brought to my attention as though it were a vehicle for the views held by the wicked Prof. Roger Scruton, and thus to be decried. On subscribing to the magazine, however, it seems to me that there is some semblance both of liberalism (best, free. Free-Trading sense) and old-time Toryism (eg Lord Salisbury, obviously). My subscription will continue; the Spectator is the only other magazine for persons such as us.
